Using Interactive Atlas
These terms apply to the Interactive Atlas family of public atlases, shared account services, communities, and shop.
Effective September 1, 2026. Using the service means you agree to these terms.
These terms cover using the atlases and the shared account features, and buying from the shop, in one document rather than two, because the same account and the same application carry both. Sections that apply specifically to a purchase say so in their own heading; a section that does not mention a purchase applies to using the service generally.

These terms cover anyone who reads an atlas, whether or not you sign in, and anyone who creates an account, contributes, joins a community, or places a shop order. Where a section applies only to a signed-in member or only to a purchaser, it says so; a section that does not name a narrower group applies to every visitor.

Reading and Research
The atlases are provided for general educational and reference use. Sources, dates, uncertainty, and disagreement are shown so readers can evaluate the material. Content is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or other individualized advice.
You may link to public pages and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. Automated access must respect published robots instructions and must not impair the service, evade controls, or reproduce the collection as a competing database.
Thirty-three atlases are provided under this one set of terms rather than thirty-three separate agreements. A term that refers to "the service" or "the application" applies across every atlas unless the term itself names one atlas specifically.
What the Atlas Is, and What It Does Not Claim
Interactive Atlas is a reference work, not a certifying or licensing authority. An entry describing a profession, a credential, a legal category, a medical condition, or a safety standard states what sources say about the subject; it does not itself certify a person, qualify a product, or authorize an activity. Where an atlas records a position a tradition, school, or discipline holds, recording that position is not this application adopting it as fact, and where credible sources disagree, the disagreement is shown rather than resolved by these terms.

Accounts and Conduct
One family account works across the atlases. You are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding credentials, and activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person, harass users, bypass access controls, interfere with operation, distribute malicious code, or use the service unlawfully.
Features may be restricted or an account may be suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, content integrity, or the service. You may request review of an account action through the contact below.
Signing in supports a password or a passkey, and only one account is needed across every atlas; a separate atlas-specific profile may sit underneath that one account where an atlas supports one, but the credential itself is shared.
Account Deletion
You can delete your own account from account settings at any time. Deleting it signs you out everywhere, ends access to saved work and purchase history under that account, and removes your profile. Where something you contributed must remain, such as a public correction or a forum post other replies depend on, it can remain attached to the deleted account rather than to your name, described further in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel an order already placed; the Returns, Replacements, and Refunds section below still applies to it.

Contributions and Rights
You retain rights you hold in material you submit. By submitting it for publication, you give Interactive Atlas the permission needed to store, review, format, display, distribute, preserve, and moderate it as part of the service. You must have the right to submit the material and must provide required attribution and sourcing.
Interactive Atlas may correct, decline, restrict, or remove material for quality, safety, rights, or legal reasons. Rights concerns follow the Copyright and Takedown process.
A contribution can be a correction, a source citation, a comment, a forum post, or profile content you choose to publish. Submitting it does not transfer your ownership of it to Interactive Atlas; it licenses the use described above. Where a contribution is later found to violate these terms, its removal does not by itself entitle you to a refund of anything you may separately have purchased.

A specific claim on an entry can be disputed from the page where it appears; a dispute that names a checkable source and what should be verified is reviewed against the evidence and the outcome is recorded. This process addresses accuracy, not legal rights; a concern about who holds the rights to something published here follows the Copyright and Takedown process instead.

The Reviewer Program

Nothing in the shop is a digital unlock of atlas content; reading the atlases is free and does not require a purchase. Because each item is produced for you specifically, availability, color, size, and material options are whatever the product page shows at the time you order, and an option shown at checkout may later be discontinued for future orders without affecting one you have already placed.

Cancelling or changing an order after it enters production may not be possible; contact us as soon as possible after placing an order you need to change.

You may not evade a block, overwhelm the service, scrape private areas, test credentials, or reproduce a substantial part of the collection as a competing database. Prices, Taxes, and Payment
The price displayed at checkout, together with applicable tax and shipping, is the amount submitted for authorization. Prices and availability can change before an order is placed. An order is not accepted until payment is authorized and the application confirms it. Obvious pricing or catalog errors may be corrected before fulfillment, with notice and a refund when payment was captured.
Payment is collected by a payment provider at checkout; card numbers and other payment credentials are handled by that provider rather than stored as readable numbers by Interactive Atlas, described further in the Privacy Policy. Tax is calculated and collected where applicable law requires it, based on the delivery address and product type.

Risk of loss and title transfer as provided by governing law and the carrier's delivery record.
